New to the Financial Advisor industry. Incredibly passionate about helping people save money the right way and protect the things they work so hard for!

Everyone’s got a story. Tell us about you (What’s your background? How did you get here? Where are you hopefully heading?).

North Shore born and raised. My father was a teacher and my mother works as a receptionist at a local car dealership. I didn’t grow up financially literate. Both of my parents worked extremely hard to provide for their family. I’ve been in financial services for over 10 years in various capacities and I’m finally making that leap into starting my own practice (with the backing of an absolutely fantastic company, New York Life!) I would love to connect with people that can help me grow my business and help me grow as an individual too!

What motivates you (causes; any advocacy/activism/initiatives you’re working on, long-term goals, etc.)?

Knowing that I made a difference in someone’s life. That I helped alleviate a pressure point or gave them some information that they didn’t have before that helps them exhale just a little.

Why are you joining The Next Gen Network?

The traditional networking groups (BNI, Chamber of Commerce) feel too rigid and sales-y. Next Gen is all about forming those relationships and seeing where they take your business and your life. You never know who you’ll meet that will have a significant impact on your life!
