Chris Donovan of Mortgage Network, Inc.
What do you do for business? What sets you apart professionally (approach, personality, branding, etc.)?:
I help people finance their dream homes. But is it so much more than just that, I help people who are not ready yet and teach them what they will need to do to become financially ready. This could be helping them understand what would be needed for the mortgage, understanding where their credit currently stand, and what could effect your ability to purchase your dream home. I am here every step of the way even past the closing to make sure that my clients are informed and happy.
General location of your business + network:
My office is located in Danvers, but i am licensed in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Who/what/when is a great referral for you?:
A great referral for me is anyone that you know that is even remotely interested in potentially buying or selling. Sellers are important as well, as they will most likely be looking to upgrade or down size. It is great to get the referral before they start looking, because as i said above, there are some shortfalls that could come up, and if we have those hopefully caught prior to you looking then, you are more confident while you are out there purchasing.
How do you want to grow your business?:
New connections in the business community; Give back to my local community
Why are you joining The Next Gen Network?:
I am joining The Next Gen Network because I have been going to their socials for years. This is so much different than the other networking groups as everyone is friendly and open to talk. Too many other events if you are not a regular people don’t really want to talk.
Everyone’s got a story to tell. What’s your background? How did you get here?:
I have been doing my job since 2012. I started in the operations side learning the ins and outs of the business. Before this, I was a bar tender at a few places up and down the north Shore to Boston. I think that the bar tending really helps me with my current job because of the personal relationships you build with your co workers and patrons. The one thing I can say is I am always there to help someone, whether that is in my personal life with my great group of friends, or with my clients. I treat any one of my clients like family and want what is best for them.
